Will Tayshia Adams' Ex John Paul Jones Reappear On 'The Bachelorette'?

When Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones met on Bachelor In Paradise last summer, and ultimately dated each other for a little bit, I was so excited. I loved watching their bizarre romance unfold - JPJ is just such a fun weirdo, and Tayshia loved him for it. I thought they were a great match. So when news broke that Tayshia is confirmed to replace Clare Crawley as the lead on this upcoming season of The Bachelorette, I immediately wondered if JPJ would make an appearance. 

I'm not ruling this out just yet, but I'm gonna say it's highly unlikely that JPJ is cast on Tayshia's season. Will he make an appearance? Maybe, but I don't think they'll get back together. 

He has, however, responded to the news that she's the new show lead (and it's also why I think he's not going to make an appearance at all). 

JPJ told PEOPLE, "I'm very excited for her ... I think this seems like a great time in her life to really settle down and choose the one." 

Ugh, I just wish it had worked out between them. The pair were together until October 2019, when they decided that ultimately going their separate ways was best for both of them.
