Don't get me wrong, if it's wine then I'll probably love it. But if the wine has cool labels and a unique experience attached to it, then it's even more appealing to me.
That's what stands out to me about Tank Garage Winery in Calistoga, California. Amongst all the fancy wineries you'll find in Napa Valley, Tank took a vintage service station and turned it into a winery that celebrates being different, standing out, and going against the grain. Who wouldn't love that message? They have cool labels, too!
I think their photos speak for themselves, and this is a fun little spot to check out sometime. Honestly, their photos are what made me find the place on Instagram, actually. I mean, just look. For those of us who are maybe a little bit shallow and operate on finding the most Instagrammable spots or at least love aesthetically pleasing things, this is another place to check off the list.
Of course, with COVID, there are guidelines in place for safety and reservations are required ahead of time. In addition to tastings, they offer curbside pickup if you're just looking to take some bottles home with you after your day getaway in Napa. Check out their website before you head out!
