Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland has announced its opening date, and they're getting ready to welcome guests very soon.
I'm the type of person that starts celebrating pumpkin season on July 5, but not everyone's that way. Finally the time has come though, and if heading to Bishop's is one of your to-dos every fall, then you'll get to start visiting beginning Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Admission to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm is free, however, certain attractions require tickets.
In addition to picking out your perfect pumpkins for the season, you can make an entire day of it by snacking on cookies, homemade fudge, BBQ, popcorn, and more. Also, I cannot forget to mention their apple cider slushies and other fall beverages. Pick up pies, cakes, and other goodies from Mrs. B's Bakery, and sit down for lunch somewhere at Pigadeli Square.
