If you're looking for a fun and artistic thing to do this fall, this glass pumpkin patch is something you should definitely check out.
I was at Apple Hill last weekend for a cider tasting and tour of Boa Vista, and I kept seeing signs everywhere on my drive through Apple Hill for this hand blown glass pumpkin patch. I've ALWAYS wanted to go to a glass pumpkin patch, so I had to make a stop.
Delfino Farms is where this glass pumpkin patch was, and it didn't disappoint. Hundreds of colorful glass pumpkins from various Northern California makers glistened in the sun on bales of hay and creepy Halloween table displays. There were even glass corn cobs, leaves, acorns, and snails!
This same hand blown glass pumpkin patch is going to have a different location October 8-9. Find it at its original location outside the Folsom Art Center (48 Natoma Street) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is the same glass pumpkin patch I went to, but it's a little closer to home for most of us in Sac. Get more info here.
