Passing by this beef ranch, you may not think it's an exciting place to stop. But once you take the time to explore it, you'll see why it's worth the hype.
A couple weekends ago, my boyfriend and I took a quick trip to Pinnacles National Park. On our way home, he wanted to show me his childhood home, so we ended up taking a detour to Coalinga, California.
He told me there's this beef ranch that we HAD to stop at, so we did...and as random as it was, this beef ranch was amazing.
Harris Ranch has a restaurant, hotel, Tesla charger, and gift shop on site. We ate at the restaurant and I had one of the best burgers in my life. It's actually kind of fancy...in a very unexpected way. I'd still consider it to be one of those "weird" roadside attractions, but it's worth the stop.

While I'm really hyping this place up, I wouldn't recommend driving south just for the sake of going there. But, Harris Ranch would be a great place to stop for lunch or dinner on your way to or from Southern California.
