Hundreds of Rocklin students showing COVID-19 symptoms

Hundreds of students in the Rocklin Unified School District are reportedly showing symptoms of COVID-19 just two weeks into classes.

According to Fox 40, more than 400 students have been showing symptoms. Some parents are calling for more precautions to be taken, however, school officials say that infections are coming from outside of the classroom.

RUSD says they're monitoring the situation while following guidance of the Placer County Public Health Department. Face masks are required indoors, outdoor spaces are being utilized, and COVID-19 tests are provided upon request.
