
Parents are (understandably) outraged after their kids were served tequila by another kindergartner that smuggled a bottle of ready-to-drink Jose Cuervo margaritas in her backpack to school.
Multiple parents told Fox 2 Detroit that their daughters were served the margaritas and then notifying the teacher after finding out what they'd just drank.
One child told her mother that the girl that served the drinks "knew it was liquor."
In attempt to explain how this could've possibly happened, the school said in a statement, "While we try to keep an eye on everything our students bring to school, that's simply not possible. It's unfortunate that these types of adult beverages can be easily mistaken for child-friendly drinks."
