Just a few hours away from Sacramento are giant granite rock formations that will make you feel like you're on the moon.
Just north of Reno, Nevada, is the Hungry Valley Recreation Area where OHV-ers go to have some fun on its thousands of miles of dirt roads, trails, valleys, and the "Moon Rocks" granite formations. This place is an ideal spot for free riding, rock crawling, and UTVing.
Obviously the Moon Rocks are not actually moon rocks, but they sure look out of this world.
And maybe you're not the outdoorsy type...that's okay. The Moon Rocks make for a gorgeous photoshoot location!
