
There are plenty of amazing campsites all throughout Northern California. And while this one has beautiful views just like the rest of them, this destination is certainly not for the faint of heart.
I'm a bit skeptical of this claim, but supposedly Mount Madonna County Park is one of the most haunted campgrounds in California. Located about three hours away from Sacramento, near the town of Gilroy, this campground has spurred various reports of paranormal experiences at night.
Many campers have reported seeing the ghost of a young girl in a white dress walking around the remnants of an old home that once stood in the park.
According to Only In Your State, that ghost may be that of a 12-year-old girl named Sarah Alice Miller.
Sarah died in 1875 after being thrown off her horse. The rumor was that her father buried her where the campground now stands; this rumor was proven false, but that doesn't necessarily take away from the spooky vibes of this place.
