Northern California has an endless supply of unique attractions. This one in particular is one of the best simply because it has a variety of amenities that make you not want to leave - ever.

While the REAL Old Faithful Geyser is in Yellowstone National Park, the Old Faithful Geyser of California is a unique attraction with the essence of the iconic U.S. landmark.

Located in Calistoga, the manmade geyser "erupts" every 15 to 30 minutes as part of its water show, and it's surrounded by beautiful scenery where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy a picnic.

There's even a petting zoo with Guard Llamas, Tennessee Fainting Goats, Cameroon Pygmy Goats, and Jacob's Four-Horned Sheep, plus bocce ball and a Geology Museum onsite where you can learn about how geysers work.

Hours vary by season, and entry fee varies by age group. And yes, there's a military discount! Check out all the info here.

Old Faithful Geyser of California is located at 1299 Tubbs Lane in Calistoga, California, which is about two hours away from Sacramento.
