An episode of the Nickelodeon show Spongebob Squarepants has been pulled over having pandemic-related insensitivities in the storyline.

According to PEOPLE, the episode "Kwarantined Crab" from the show's 12th season was nixed for depicting characters being shunned and thrown in a refrigerator when they've contracted the "clam flu."

The episode is no longer available on Amazon or the Paramount+ streaming platform.

This actually isn't the first time a Spongebob episode has been pulled. Back in 2018, the episode "Mid-Life Crustacean" from season 3 was quietly removed from rotation (and streaming platforms altogether), in which Mr. Krabs, Spongebob, and Patrick break into a woman's home and steal her underwear.

A spokesperson for the network told PEOPLE that the episode was pulled in 2018 following a standards review in which elements of the story were deemed inappropriate for kids.
