Mollie Kendrick holding cards from the St. Soleil Lucid Dreams tarot deck
Mollie Kendrick

If you've been wanting to learn how to read tarot, this is a beautiful deck for beginners that I highly recommend.

I've been reading tarot using the classic Rider Waite deck for about 8 years, mostly because the imagery is much more useful for reading tarot intuitively. I hadn't come across any other decks that have such descriptive, symbolic artwork besides that one until I found St. Soleil's Lucid Dreams deck.

I guess this deck has been around for a while now because it's their best-selling deck. I love the artwork and I also love that each card has keywords and phrases for the upright and reverse positions.

Although I've been reading tarot for 8 years, having keywords and phrases really gave a lot of depth and new meaning to my readings. This deck has been incredibly helpful to me, so even if you're not a beginner either then I recommend this deck for that same reason.

Less important (but also fun) details about this deck: the sides are sparkly gold, and the deck comes in a box with a magnetic clasp that keeps the cards intact. I don't have to worry about the box shredding or falling apart when I throw the deck into my work bag or purse.

Check out the Lucid Dreams tarot deck here. (If it's out of stock, keep checking back or sign up for a restock notification on their site. It'll be worth the wait!)
