This boutique hotel in Los Angeles isn't your typical LA getaway, but it'll sure make you feel more relaxed and at-home while you're there.
Last year when I went down to LA to do a QHHT past life regression, I booked a room in this Airbnb hotel called The Burlington in LA's West Lake neighborhood because I thought the photos of it online were stunning. In person, this hotel is even more magical and the photos don't do it justice.

The Burlington was built in the early 1900s and completely renovated with kitchenettes in each room. The hotel has sort of a boarding house vibe, because there's a large communal kitchen on the main level and no front desk.
What I loved about staying there is that it was quiet, had a positive vibe, and none of the rooms have TVs. Yes, that was a selling point for me!
The hotel has free Wifi, so you're not completely disconnected.

This isn't the place to book if you're a partyer or traveling with a large group of family or friends. Rather, if you're looking to work remotely or just take a trip south to live like a local for a couple days, this place is ideal.
If you plan on staying there, I highly recommend paying the additional daily parking fee because there's literally NO available street parking in this highly-populated neighborhood.
