Beating acne as an adult can feel like such a battle. Over time, I've tried many different things to control it, and I finally came across a product that's worked for me long-term at keeping acne under control.
You may have heard of the ingredient, niacinamide. It's popping up in all different serums these days as an acne-control product. I've been using The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum for about one year as part of my nighttime skin care routine, and I notice a huge difference when I'm using it versus when I stop using it.
It's a little bit sticky, so I don't recommend wearing it during the day. I also find that it dries out my skin a little bit if I use too much product, so be conscious of the amount of product you're using.
In addition to moisturizer and other skin care investments, I highly recommend giving this a try. Everyone's skin is different, so this might not be for you but it's the one thing that has consistently kept my acne under control for the past year.
The best part is it's only $6.50 at Ulta, and you can find it here.
