I'm sure you've heard about the benefits of retinol and, if you're of a certain age, your esthetician probably tells you all the time that you need to add it to your skincare routine.
I wanted to share which retinol product I personally use, because it's awesome and I swear by it. I get comments all the time about how smooth and dewy my skin looks, and it's because I use The Ordinary Retinol 0.5% in Squalane.
Retinol can easily dry out skin that isn't used to it, so bear with the peeling for a little while...once your skin is used to it, it's totally worth it. Squalane will help moisturize, but make sure you use a moisturizer that you love. Serums help, too.
Because I want that super smooth look, I always put the retinol on first.
