As she previously shared on her Instagram Story, Hilton was filming a video for “Bad B**** Academy” on Friday when a fire broke out in her trailer.
“Sadly an accidental fire broke out in my trailer on the set of my music video today,” Hilton wrote alongside a visual of the aftermath. “As heartbreaking as it is, I’m so thankful everyone is safe and I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing support I have around me.” Shouting out Heidi Klum, Meghan Trainor, Lance Bass, director Hannah Lux Davis “and my entire team.” Simon Rex was also present for the music video and subsequent fire.

In subsequent stories Paris first noted that the video shoot did not go “how I expected,” alongside a picture of a few charred items. However, she showed that filming had resumed with a message that read “the show must go on,” with a photo of herself and Klum striking a pose for a scene in a nightclub set.

In a follow up post, Hilton returned to the scene of the fire showing more of the interior, which she said “smells like I’m in the movie Candyman or something.”
“Assessing the damages after yesterday’s fire 😭 It’s heartbreaking to see so many of my favorite things destroyed 💔,” Paris captioned the post. “All of the gorgeous custom outfits that we had made for the music video, designer couture outfits, all my favorite sunglasses, shoes, handbags, jewelry, computers, cameras, phones, and so much more😣🥺 But thankfully everyone is safe and okay and that’s all that matters 💖 Here’s hoping Day 2 of filming 'Bad Bitch Academy' is a little less lit 😂 Clearly this #InfiniteIcon era is hot🔥😉,” she concluded, trying to make light of an unfortunate situation.
“Bad B**** Academy” will be one the tracks off Hilton’s upcoming album, Infinite Icon, set to arrive September 6. The track will follow up the aughts icon’s previously released singles, “I’m Free” feat. Rina Sawayama and “Chasin'” feat. Meghan Trainor.
