Universal Studios Hollywood is opening up today at 25 percent capacity.
The Southern California theme park had been closed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic last March.
Face coverings are mandatory and temperature checks will be required upon arrival. There will also be floor markings and social distancing in place.
There's other safety measures in place like limiting capacity and following social distancing guidelines throughout all entertainment venues, restaurants and shops throughout the destination.
Other measures include increasing already-aggressive cleaning and disinfection procedures, and frequently cleaning all high touch surfaces.
All team members will undergo temperature checks and wear face coverings and participate in extensive training on our new procedures.
"We're officially reopening on April 16! Park tickets will be available online only, starting April 8. At this time, theme park visits are limited to California residents," the park wrote on Twitter.
Tickets went on sale to California residents on April 8 and attendance will be limited in accordance with government guidelines. Universal CityWalk and the Universal Cinema are also open.
