The A's and Warriors used to be neighbors in East Oakland at the Coliseum complex.

While Golden State has moved across the bridge to the Chase Center in San Francisco, A’s manager Mark Kotsay still showed some love for the Dubs at this postgame press conference Thursday.

Following his team’s 6-4 win over the Orioles Thursday, and before the Warriors 7 p.m. PT against the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference first round, Kotsay rocked a Golden State warmup during his press conference.

Former A’s manager Bob Melvin was a fervent supporter of Cal basketball and the Warriors, so it’s cool to see Kots carry on the East Bay tradition.

Kotsay appears to be pushing all the right buttons in his first go-round as skipper. The low-budget A’s went 5-5 on a grueling 10-game East Coast road trip to start the season and just took three of four from the Baltimore Orioles to kickoff their first homestand of the year.

The Warriors, meanwhile, are aiming to get back to the NBA Finals for the sixth time in the past eight seasons with the championship trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Steph paid homage to Oracle Arena during the team’s first playoff game at Chase Center last week, as he wore some Oakland-themed sneakers during his warmups.
