Kevin Gausman has been named the NL Pitcher of the Month, the first Giant to earn that honor since Madison Bumgarner did so (twice) in 2014.
The right-hander, who is currently third in baseball in ERA, secured the award by surrendering just three runs in his six starts. Along the way, Gausman was 5-0 with a 0.73 ERA. In 37 innings, Gausman punched out 49 batters.
