For the second time in five years, the San Francisco 49ers are meeting up with the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

The 49ers avoided the fate suffered by three other franchises in the Super Bowl era of having lost three-straight conference championship games, and now, Las Vegas sees them as a slight favorite over the Chiefs.

Per odds aggregators Action Network and Vegas Insider, San Francisco, at the time of posting, is widely favored by a point over the Chiefs, with the highest line favoring the 49ers by 1.5 points. That line opened by favoring the 49ers by 2.5 points, but was quickly pushed down by people realizing that they were betting against Patrick Mahomes as an underdog.

The total for the game is set at either 47 or 47.5 points, depending on where you go. The most logical conclusion to take from this is that the 49ers will win 24-23 (total of 47, 49ers win by one) on a Jake Moody field goal. After the last two games, it seems the most reasonable outcome.
