The 49ers raced out to a halftime lead of 24-3 thanks to a pair of Christian McCaffrey touchdown runs and 87 first half rushing yards. Brock Purdy completed 15-of-20 passes in the first 30 minutes for 134 yards and San Francisco rolled to a 31-13 win over the Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle.

Christian McCaffrey set the tone for what kind of night it was going to be for the 49ers on their first offensive series.

Deebo Samuel then got San Francisco on the board to make it 7-0.

After Jauan Jennings got by three Seattle defenders to pick up a first down and the Seahawks were called for an illegal contact penalty, Christian McCaffrey put the 49ers up 14-3.

The defense got into the act with Ambry Thomas picking off this Geno Smith pass.

Christian McCaffrey juked and turned his way to the end zone for a 21-3 49ers advantage.

The 49ers added on late in the half when DeeJay Dallas muffed a Mitch Wishnowsky punt, then tried to pick it up and run with it rather than falling on it and Ronnie Bell came away with the recovery setting up a Jake Moody field goal.

Seattle pulled to within 24-13 late in the third quarter after a Brock Purdy pick-6 and another Seahawks field goal following a three and out. The 49ers defense held off any true drama by ending three consecutive Seattle possessions with sacks and then Brock Purdy found Brandon Aiyuk to put the game away.

The 49ers improve to 8-3 and now have a firm grasp on the NFC West up two games on Seattle with one more head-to-head matchup in Santa Clara on December 10 and the 49ers can set their sights on a rematch of last season's NFC Championship game in Philadelphia coming up on December 3.

Purdy finished 21-for-30 for 209 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Christian McCaffrey rushed for 114 yards.
