Brock Purdy threw a career high four touchdown passes, George Kittle caught three of them, also a career high, as the 49ers jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and cruised to a 42-10 blowout victory over the Cowboys at Levi's Stadium to improve to 5-0.
San Francisco keeps pace with the 5-0 Eagles as the lone remaining undefeated teams in the NFL. The win is the 49ers 15th consecutive regular season victory, which equals a franchise record set back in 1989-90.
Kittle got the 49ers going with a 19-yarder from Brock Purdy on the first possession of the game.
After each team exchanged lost fumbles, the 49ers dialed up a trick play which led to Kittle's second connection from Purdy.
Kittle's third touchdown of the game came mid-third quarter to put the 49ers up 28-10.
Brock Purdy finished 17-for-24 for 252 yards and four touchdowns. This was the eighth consecutive regular season game the 49ers scored 30 or more points dating back to the final three games of last season.
Next up for the 49ers is a pair of road games beginning in Cleveland vs. the Browns (2-2) who will be coming off of their bye week and then a Monday night matchup in Minneapolis vs. the currently 1-4 Vikings.
