“Feels great, baby!”
Those are three words that will be attached to Jimmy Garoppolo for the rest of his career and probably beyond.
Back in 2019, Garoppolo gave his memorable interview response to Erin Andrews after the 49ers moved to 8-0 with a win over the Arizona Cardinals. When the 49ers host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Andrews will be on the sidelines with the FOX Sports crew, along with Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen and Tom Rinaldi.
So, will we see an encore post-game interview with a Niners victory?
Rinaldi is also a sideline reporter, but you have to think that Andrews would be on the 49ers coverage given her viral moment with Jimmy G.
Earlier this year, as the 49ers made their postseason run, Jimmy G dropped another, “Feels great, baby,” line on Andrews in an interview.
Niners fans don’t want to see their team fall to 3-4 and drop a second straight game, but this is some extra motivation for a ‘W.’
Knowing the current climate on sports betting, there’s gotta be some bookie out there taking wagers on whether or not he’ll say, “Feels great, baby!” one more time.
