The Baltimore Ravens have been decimated by injuries all year and things may have took a turn for the worse on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson was carted to the locker room with an ankle injnury in the second quarter of Sunday’s game after taking a hit from linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.

Jackson was originally ruled questionable to return, but was officially deemed out at the start of the third quarter.

Jackson grabbed the area near his ankle immediately when he went down and was taken to the medical tent before the cart came out to bring him to the locker room.

Per reporters at the game, Jackson hobbled out of the tent without putting weight on his right foot before getting into the cart.

The Ravens were already trailing 10-0 at the time of the injury and the Browns capitalized on the very next possession to go up 17-0.

Baltimore currently holds the top spot in a tight AFC North race, but if Jackson were to miss even just a couple of weeks it could allow for the other teams in the division to make a late-season run.
