Levi's Stadium reportedly set to host Super Bowl in 2026

The big game looks like its returning to the Bay Area

Per Ben Fischer of Sports Business Journal, Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara is expected to be named as host for Super Bowl 60 in February 2026.

An official announcement is expected to be made next week as the spring league meetings in Minneapolis. 49ers owner Jed York had previously said he expected Levi's to be awarded the game as the team seeks $120 million for upgrades to the nearly decade-old stadium. The stadium last played host to Super Bowl 50 in 2016.

The Warriors, Giants and other Bay Area sports teams have been helping the 49ers in making this happen.

Levi's Stadium will also host World Cup matches in the summer of 2026.
