The 49ers have reportedly received good news regarding injuries to three of their top players.
According Adam Schefter of ESPN Christian McCaffrey (oblique), Deebo Samuel (shoulder) and Trent Williams (ankle) avoided long-term injuries and could be available to play on Monday night at Minnesota.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters via conference call yesterday that the news was promising on Samuel and Williams, with both listed as day-to-day) but McCaffrey's status was a little more unclear with the star running back still in the process of being evaluated after an MRI.
The 49ers will return to the practice field on Thursday for the first of three sessions leading up to Monday's contest against the Vikings.
