The ever quotable Terrell Owens joined The Morning Roast with Bonta and Shasky and weighed in on a number of topics surrounding the matchup between two of the teams he played for during his Hall of Fame career.
Owens likes the 49ers in Sunday's game and their overall ceiling in the playoffs.
"The Cowboys, it's the same old thing with them every year. They have high hopes, but they can't close the deal. The way the 49ers are balling right now, it's there's to go get.
Owens added a parting shot for the Cowboys owner, "Jerry Jones can kick rocks!"
T.O. was asked what has impressed him most about Brock Purdy?
"Whenever you think about some of the quarterbacks that were kind of like tweeners in a sense, that I played with, they were more active, they made a lot of plays with their feet. I think he's a bit a bit better than those guys because he sits in a pocket."
Who would Terrell Owens take between the 49ers Brandon Aiyuk or Cowboys CeeDee Lamb?
"I liked the jump, the leap of Brandon Aiyuk based on what I kind of saw last year. Obviously we saw him during the preseason and what he's done thus far. He's starting to be an emerging star."
