According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissaro, Vikings Offensive Coordinator Gary Kubiak plans to retire.
Kubiak joined the Vikings in 2019 as Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Advisor. The 59 year-old took over the offensive for the 2020 season after former Vikings Offensive Coordinator Kevin Stefanski took the Head Coaching position with the Cleveland Browns.
Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer has had a hard time keeping Offensive Coordinators in tow, Kubiak being the fifth since Zimmer took over in 2014. Others have included Norv Turner, Pat Shumur, John DeFilippo and Stefanski.
The Vikings ranked 16th in the NFL in total offense in 2020.
