Stephon Gilmore left Sunday's game late in the first half with a non-contact leg injury.
It looked bad at the time, but now a day later it's being revealed that it wasn't quite as bad as it looked.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Gilmore suffered a partially torn quad that will require surgery on Tuesday. There's no structural damage to his knee and he should be ready for some part of the offseason program.
Gilmore is signed for one more season, but seems due for a raise this offseason. It remains to be seen if he will stay in New England or be traded/released.
Here's video of the injury.
