The season is young for the Maryland Terrapins but last night's 70-64 upset win over the #6 Wisconsin Badgers will certainly be a highlight of the 2020-2021. Maryland entered the game at 6-3 and fresh off the heels of a close loss to Big Ten rival Perdue on Christmas Day. This year's Big Ten schedule is daunting for Maryland and the matchup against Wisconsin was the beginning of a string of games against ranked opponents. Some thought Maryland would be outmatched against an experienced Badgers squad, but from the first tip, the Terps came to play. By the final whistle, Maryland had pulled off a convincing upset of the number six team in the nation and secured their first victory over a top 10 team since 2016.

Fresh off the victory, Senior Guard Darryl Morsell joined the Big Bad Morning Show on Tuesday morning, sharing his feelings on the Terps big win. Listen in as Darryl shares his thoughts on the Terps standing up to the more-experienced Badgers, what the win will mean for a young team, and what life has been like for the Terps as they navigate through the rigors of a Covid-affected season.
