Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk's mother is a huge San Francisco 49ers fan — even before he was drafted in the first round by the Niners — and that obviously turned out well for the two of them. He led those same 49ers in receptions (60), receiving yards (748) and receiving touchdowns (5) and was one of the most exciting offensive rookies in a fairly stacked class.
So it looks like he's going to use a similar method in raising his own son, Braylon, based on a recent Instagram post. The caption told the whole story: "Son! You can be whatever you want to be in this life!! 🤞🏿🧡 (besides 💩hawks fan)."
And, to no one's surprise, his teammates and the 49ers fan base are loving that approach. 49ers tight end George Kittle and Clemson wideout Joseph Ngata are among those who commented, sharing their approval.
Aiyuk and his longtime girlfriend, Rochelle, had Braylon at the very start of the 2020 NFL season, and Aiyuk used his newborn son as inspiration and motivation throughout his debut campaign. His first ever touchdown brought a ton of excitement to Rochelle, though we're not surprised to see that little Braylon had no clue what was going on.
But we're not worried. Braylon will have many, many years to witness his father's excellence on the football field if 2020 was any indication.
