Burger King brings back Cheesy Tots for a limited time

After removing them from the menu earlier this year, Burger King has brought back the fan-favorite Cheesy Tots.

The fast-food chain’s crispy potato tater tots are filled with gooey cheese and coated with soft crunchy bread crumb that makes it hard to resist.

This cheat-day treat was one of Burger King’s most popular menu items earlier this year, but was only available for a limited amount of time, Delish reported.

A Facebook group with over 3,000 members was created with the main goal of bringing back the menu item. The group, titled, “Bring Back the Cheesy Tots from Burger King” frequently posted photos of people eating the tots with the hashtag #makethempermanent.

Upon the tot’s return, the hashtag changed to #cheesytotsareback.

Burger King has given their customers options with their tots by creating a new bacon version. Each side includes four tots for only $1. Customers can also purchase an eight-count option.

Don’t wait to get your hands on the new side as the tots are available at participating Burger King locations for a limited-time only.

The fast-food chain recently brought back the Sourdough King, a burger featuring a quarter-pound beef patty, bacon, two slices of American cheese, ketchup, and mayonnaise layered between two slabs of toasted sourdough bread.

The Sourdough King burger is available until April 19.
