This is some of the dumbest "returning to the scene of the crime" action possible. But it's Florida Man so we're not shocked.
A 27-year-old guy named Herbert McClellan went to a Speedway gas station in Clearwater, Florida around 2:00 A.M. last Tuesday. When the clerk was distracted, he reached over the counter and stole $102 worth of lottery scratchers, according to Fox 13.
Then he came back to the store a few hours later to cash in the $30 prize he'd won on one of them.
The employees immediately recognized him as the guy who'd stolen the lottery tickets and called the cops.
Herbert was arrested for petit theft and dealing in stolen property.
