In a black and white video posted just one day ago, Lana addressed her fans and soon to be non-followers by saying, "Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that tomorrow we are going to be deactivating our social media accounts, my social media accounts. That is simply because I have so many interests, and other jobs I’m doing that require privacy and transparency." No judgment but NGL, not really sure what that means.

Despite what "other jobs" Del Rey is currently working on, she went on to note that she’s still going to focusing on music, writing poetry, saying "there will probably always be more to come." She just won't have a Twitter/IG handle anymore.

As she put it ... "For right now, I think I'm going to just keep my circle a little bit closer and continue to develop some other skills and interests."

Despite her choice to lessen her digital footprint, Lana made sure to share her gratitude for all those who support her before bidding adieu to social media. "I wanna say a heartfelt thank you for continuing to kind of see me through the music," she expressed. "It's always important to be witnessed, and it's also really important just to be witnessed by the people close to you that you know and who you trust."

To close out the vid, Lana continued with a message of thanks, saying, "I’ve really enjoyed sharing all these very small tidbits with you, and I'm really blessed, so thank you," she said. "Signing off."

While many celebs do just fine without social accounts, we wonder how long Lana will keep this internet detox going? Till then, we'll just be over here… scrolling.
