Ohio police are searching for a bunch of monkeys after receiving calls of sightings throughout the Price Hill area.

“For hours, I was just shook because that’s not something that you see every day,” Sammy Trinh said.

Trinh told WLWT that she'd seen about five monkeys near her home.

“That’s why we instantly pulled out cameras because it doesn’t even sound believable,” Lucky Griffith said.

Both Trinh and Griffith have recorded videos of the loose monkeys. The videos shows up to three monkeys up in a tree, and a couple more on the ground.

Those aren't the only people who saw the monkeys, another woman had a sighting as well.

“I was right here and it was standing over by the garbage can,” the woman said. “Its arms were real long, like hanging down ... and its arms were real skinny.” the anonymous woman said.

The Cincinnati Zoo said that they didn't come from the zoo:

"We have received lots of inquiries and want to make sure people know that all primates being cared for at the Cincinnati Zoo are here and never left!" zoo officials said in a statement. "The Cincinnati Police Department received reports from private citizens that they saw monkeys in the Price Hill area late last night, but they have not been able to find any. Any questions or information should be directed to (the Cincinnati Police Department)."
