Town in Indiana will give you cash and 'grandparents on demand' to move there

Greensburg, Indiana wants to pay $7,000 cash/gifts and give people free grandparents if they move into town, FOX 11 reports.

The state of Indiana is trying to get remote workers to move to the town of Greenburg with not only cold hard cash, but also “Grandparents on Demand.”

"Our friend Tami at the Decatur County Community Foundation and her husband (who also drives the school bus) happily offer babysitting hours and will stand in on Grandparents Day at school," according to the MakeMyMove website.

MakeMyMove is working with the city "to attract high-wage, out-of-state remote workers to live in Greensburg, IN," a spokesperson told FOX.

If you’re selected you’ll receive $5,000 in moving expenses, a year membership to the YMCA, gift cards to the farmers market, tickets to the local playhouse, opportunities to work with community leaders, and a concierge team to help with you relocation.

·         Must have a remote position or be self-employed outside of Greensburg

·         Must be at least 18 years old
