The movie, 'Stutz,' focuses on conversation between Hill and Stutz (therapist to many Hollywood stars).

“I just keep asking myself, ‘Was a this a f*****g terrible idea for a patient to make a movie about his therapist?” Hill asks at one point, according to EW. Stutz even chimes in saying the documentary could either be one the best or worst ever created.

Hill reveals he started seeing Stutz “out of desperation to get happier.”

Hill says it was Stutz’s concept of a “shadow” that helped him understand he still had self-loathing personally from his body insecurity issues.

“Inherently, at my core, I’m still this unlovable person,” Hill said. “The work is inching towards not only accepting [that] it’s great to be this person, but that’s still very hard.”

In the movie Hill opens up about his reasoning for undertaking the project, “I’m making this movie because I want to give therapy and the tools I’ve learned in therapy to as many people as possible through a film. I made this movie because I love Phil, because I love the life these tools allowed me to have.”

“Stutz” is streaming on Netflix now.
