Everyone knew Luke Bryan would bring some jokes as he hosted the 2021 CMA Awards. While the Country goofball kept the audience laughing mostly at his own expense, one of his very few jokes aimed at another may have not gone as well as he planned.

As Luke welcomed the crowd in the very beginning of the show he was sure to mention the protocols the Country Music Association was enforcing to make sure all artists and fans remained as safe as possible from COVID-19. Luke’s explanation quickly turned into a topical jab at NFL star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers has recently been under fire after some say he led his teammates and NFL officials to believe he was fully vaccinated when in actuality he had not received the vaccine and took other measures to “immunize” himself. Rodgers’ truth has been scrutinized after the 37-year-old tested positive for COVID.

"It is so great to be here with all my fellow artists, tested and together... or immunized?" Bryan said at the start of the show. "Just playin'."

Immediately following Luke’s statement, the cameras panned to Carrie Underwood, who some suspect shot Luke some major side-eye.

Could be true if Carrie shares the same views as her husband, retired NHL star, Mike Fisher. Fisher recently took to Instagram to share his support of Rodgers.

“I stand with Aaron Rodgers,” Fisher’s post read. “I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our bodies and the freedom of conscience… these past 2 years has clearly shown us that this is not about our health, it’s about control over our lives. I won’t stand for that.”

It continues, “It’s time to fight for our medical freedom and I feel for those that have been fired for choosing medical freedom. People losing their jobs over a medical choice is un-American and unacceptable. We need to stand up now before it’s too late!! #medicalfreedom #istandwithaaronrodgers
