As couples across the nation are celebrating their love this Valentine’s Day, Dierks is there for those struggling in the love department with this new, playful, anti-love anthem.
“I love that we’re releasing ‘She Hates Me’ on Valentine’s Day, it’s kind of the anti-Valentine’s Day track — It’s a heartache song,” Bentley shared. “I love the sad songs in Country music, but I love the ones that have a little bit of a lighter twist, little bit of a wink to them and are fun.”
That's exactly what fans will find with the new single that pokes fun at a heartbreaking situation most have fallen victim to. “I think it’s a song that everybody can relate to — guys and girls, we’ve all been in a relationship where, no matter what you do, that person just does not like you and you can’t figure it out. You have these great plans for what your life might look like to get together, but they never come to fruition because she just doesn’t like you.”
He concluded, “‘She Hates Me,’ is a great song for anybody out there, especially those that are maybe not having the most Hallmark Valentine’s Day this year.”
