“This album for me really feels like a return to my roots," says Carly during On The Record. "I grew up in Kentucky and I loved bluegrass and traditional Country music and I feel like I had to go back and find my why of why I wanted to do music in the first place."
"I feel like I really found it through this process. This album for me is the most reflective. I feel like I have such a great perspective right now on life and I do feel that you can live your best life at any age and we need to get away from trying to always be younger and get away from all of the stereotypes that people put on us, especially as women."
