During a recent show in Hollywood, FL on February 23, Ballerini stopped mid-song to set fans straight as they slammed her ex with a chant during the song, "Penthouse,” which features detailed lyrics about the falling out of their relationship and moving on afterwards.

"Guys, we have to stop saying that,” Ballerini said as the fans chanted obscenities directed at Evans. "Seriously, we’re three years past it, everything’s fine now," she added. "I sing the song for you now, it’s not about me anymore, please," she continued before moving forward with the show.

"Alright, for everyone that’s moving forward with their life, will you sing this with me?"

Ballerini kicked off her current tour in support of newest album, PATTERNS, on January 21 and is set to continue through March before wrapping March 30 at Ball Arena in Denver. Find tickets here.
