Please check on your friends and neighbors, Taylor Swift has revealed more details about her 12th studio album, Life of a Showgirl. The GRAMMY-winning prolific artist made her highly anticipated podcast debut this week and gave us all the details.

On a special edition of the New Heights podcast hosted by boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, Swift delivered on almost anything we would want to know about Life of a Showgirl, and if you've been watching the detectives this week, you're ahead of the game.
The album will arrive on October 3, featuring 12 songs and only 12 songs. There are special editions and they are available for pre-order for a limited time. As predicted by Swiftie super sleuths, the only featuring is from Sabrina Carpenter, and the album is produced by Taylor along with Max Martin and Shellback. That trio is already responsible for an anthology of hits across Red, 1989, and Reputation.
"I wanted melodies that were so infectious that you were almost angry at it and lyrics that are just as vivid, but crisp and focused and completely intentional" Swift shares on the show. "I feel like we actually came together in a really beautiful way."
Inspired by her experience on The Eras Tour, it was between stops on the European leg that Swift got to work with Martin and Shellback. "I would be playing three shows in a row, I'd have three days off," she explains. "I'd fly to Sweden, go back to the tour, and I was pretty exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally simulated and so excited to be creating."
