Uber has temporarily suspended shared rides in the U.S. and Canada due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Uber users in the U.S. and Canada won't have the ride sharing option for rides.
Usually the ride sharing is at a cheaper cost by taking several customers at a time, but with the increase of the coronavirus it is best if people stay separated.
Regular rides and Uber's food delivery, Uber Eats, are still available.
