When it came to working on CiCi, Ciara shared she “wanted to be in my CiCi element,” referring to her beloved nickname and alter-ego of sorts. “It’s still me, with just a little more attitude, it’s me being CiCi.”

Ciara also went on to thank Lil Wayne “for hopping on the remix for ‘How We Roll,’” the original version of which featured Chris Brown, whom Ciara gave a shout out to as well. Sharing that while all the tracks are getting love, this particular track has been a standout on TikTok, prompting Ciara to even launch a "How We Roll" contest for her fans.

CiCi marks Ciara’s second project under her independent record label, Beauty Marks Entertainment. Following up 2019’s Beauty Marks which featured major hit, “Level Up.”

“It’s been an incredible journey doing everything independently and essentially being in control in a way that I’ve never been able to be before," Ciara shared of the experience. “And to be able to have the same amount of success that I would of had at a major label, but doing it on my own is pretty special. And to be honest I’ve been hitting some cool markers that I haven’t even hit in a major system. So I’m super proud of this journey that I’m going on, and it feels good, it feels right.”

Ciara also went on to discuss her skincare brand, OAM Skin, which stands for "on a mission," which is exactly what she is — to make clinical skincare simple for all. Ciara went on to boast about the Vitamin C based skincare line, and shared about how the skincare line came about.

Also in the “spirits game” as Greg put it, Ciara plugged, Ten To One Rum calling her brand, originally founded by Marc Farrell, “so premium and so next level.”

Closing out by thanking the featured artists on her latest EP, shouting out Lil Baby, Big Freedia, as well as Weezy and Breezy again. Ciara also thanked her fans, saying “it’s been amazing to feel the love.”

Reiterating how CiCi is running all through that thing, "y’know that’s me being in my truest form… and just having fun. But most importantly keeping the melody there, making sure the R&B is strong at the core. And imma tell you, there’s a lot more fun stuff in store, so I’m excited for that.”
