Nick Cannon has officially welcomed baby number 9.
The 41-year-old Wild 'N Out comedian took to social media on Wednesday to announce the arrival of his daughter, Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, with model LaNisha Cole.
"Once again Today I am in Awe of the Devine Feminine,” he captioned a photo of baby Onyx's delivery. “God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth. I vow to protect, provide, guide and love this child to the best of my abilities."
He continued, “I promise to love this little girl with all my heart. Regardless what anyone says…I've given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society but instead I'm doing the work to heal and grow into the infinite being God ordained me to be."
Onyx arrives a few short months ahead of baby #10 for Nick, who revealed he and model, Brittany Bell are expecting their third child together — 10th across 5 women for Cannon.
Nick shares 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey; 5-year-old son Golden and 1-year-old daughter Powerful with Brittany Bell; another set of 11-month-old twins, Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa; 2-month-old Legendary Love Cannon with Bre Tiesi and now newborn Onyx Ice with Cole. Cannon and Alyssa Scott lost their 5-month-old son, Zen, to brain cancer in December of last year.
In May 2022 Cannon revealed he’d had a vasectomy consultation stating he had no interest “to populate the Earth completely.”
"I already went and got my vasectomy consultation," Cannon told the Daily Pop. "I ain’t looking to populate the Earth completely, but I’m definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have."
Baby #9 and 10 come after the consultation.
