As a longtime advocate for individuality and being unapologetically oneself, RiRi made it a point that everyone included, from the models working in front of the camera to the photographer and talent working behind the scenes, were all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“Pride is all about appreciating your authentic self,” Rihanna said in an official statement. “I am very excited about this collection and showing love and support to the LGBTQIA+ community, which includes so many of our customers, team members, and fans.”
As for the collection, well it’s "here for every BODY" and features a number of sleek, rainbow-embellished lingerie and loungewear pieces that are both sexy and whimsical and available in the brand’s inclusive size range for all to enjoy.
Including a range of garments, form lacy bras, neon smoking jackets, crotchless panties, Savage-branded jockstraps, and even a multi-colored kitty whip. But if mesh or technicolor briefs aren't your thing, there are plenty of options that don't lean on the rainbow motif for those seeking a more simplistic color palette.
Not that it’s needed, but there's further evidence that Savage X Fenty is actually invested in its broad audience. Through the brand's partnership with Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation, the company also promises to donate $250,000 from the sale of the collection. Distributing the proceeds among five organizations supporting LGBTQIA+ communities, including The Audre Lorde Project, The Caribbean Equality Project, INC., GLAAD and Trans Latin@ Coalition & Trans Wellness Center.
