Coachella updates 2022 entry policy, will now allow negative COVID-19 tests

Coachella is set to return to Indio, California for the first time in three years over two weekends in April 2022.

The festival has updated its health and safety protocols to now allow for negative COVID-19 tests taken within 72 hours to attend. Previously, proof of vaccination was going to be required to enter the Polo Fields.

The festival made the announcement in an Instagram story on Tuesday and updated their health and safety section on their website to say: "After seeing first-hand the low transmission data and successful implementation of safety protocols at our festivals recently, alongside the rising vaccination rate of eligible Americans, we feel confident that we can safely update our policy for C
