For DaBaby’s latest move, he’s airing out his baby mama drama with DaniLeigh. Going Live on IG during a heated argument that resulted in the police being called to his home on Sunday night.
While we’re not sure how long the relationship drama played out beforehand, at one point the rapper started filming the exchange by going Live, that showed them both hurtfully hurling insults at one another, as she fed their newborn baby.
With DaBaby calling DaniLeigh “cuckoo” and “crazy girl,” Dani fired back with fighting words of her own as she tried to reach for the phone before eventually succeeding.
In a second live video, DaniLeigh is recording as police arrive at the door. “Where he at? He wanna call the f***ing cops on me for whatever the f*** reason,” she continued spewing expletives and refusing to speak to the cops. Telling the officer, “you can talk to him because he wanted to call you guys.”
Shortly after, DaBaby issued a statement on his Instagram Story explaining he recorded the exchange to protect his “safety” and “reputation.” Accusing Dani of making “multiple threats of setting up (an) internet scheme” and “refusing to not let me go me.” Clarifying he never intend to press charges, but to simply have her removed from his home peacefully.
Additionally, Baby claimed he’s “been beat on and yelled at” by the “Easy” singer throughout their tumultuous relationship, which was apparently over in February, which Dani was more than glad to dispute (and had the receipts to do so).
To no surprise, Baby’s statement didn’t sit so well with DaniLeigh, who posted her own IG Story over her own, sharing her side of the story, including those above mentioned receipts. Claiming the argument stemmed from her ordering Plan B — a morning-after pill — to DaBaby’s home as a preventative measure for the the couple not using protection during sex.
As the drama began to trend and unfold on the internet, Dani felt the need to once again get on IG live to share her thoughts on the matter getting emotional as she discussed the ups and downs of her relationship with DaBaby and the unfortunate outcome after trying to make things work since they met and particularly since the birth of their child.
As for DaBaby’s final words on the matter for the evening, he called the whole situation “Hollywood” relating it to the movies Love & Hate “mixed wit some” Get Out.
Continuing on Monday morning, DaBaby went Live, which showed that things remained heated between the two, and that despite his original efforts Dani remained in his penthouse that evening.
