After teasing the track back in January, Lizzo finally shared her song “Special” in full during her double duty stint as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

In addition to officially debuting her impending album's title track, for which she was introduced by her mother, Lizzo also performed “About Damn Time,” which she released just a day prior.

Moments ahead of hitting the stage, Lizzo, covered up in a black cape, this time introduced herself before revealing her bedazzled sparkly neon yellow corseted co-ord set, and letting us know what time it was — “bad b**** o’clock” of course.

To perform “Special,” her highly personal self-love anthem she previously shared a snippet of, Lizzo wore a stunning electric pink mini-dress with a bejeweled corset, paired with oversized sleeve long train cape.

Elsewhere in the episode, Lizzo starred in sketches spoofing the Black Eyed Peas, TikTok, eating food and watching YouTube, and more. In one particular sketch that had us weak — titled “Orchestra,” Lizzo played a professional flutist auditioning for a prestigious symphony orchestra who can’t stop twerking while playing.

Whether she was singing, hosting, acting, or popping that booty for Beethoven, Lizzo slayed on Saturday Night Live, and we love that for her.

Speaking of things we love, Lizzo’s album Special, the much anticipated follow up to 2019's Cuz I Love You, is to debut July 15.
