If you owned a piece of Prince’s jewelry, you’d surely wear it as often as possible right? For Maya Rudolph, that question is answered with a resounding yes.

Rudolph was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as she told the story of how she became the owner of a very particular piece of Prince jewelry, his belly chain.
“I am lucky enough that now it’s known that I love Prince, so it’s not a secret anymore,” she told Fallon. She received the belly chain as a gift from one of her friends, a piece of jewelry Prince wore in the “Mountains” music video.
“I wear it around my neck because it does not fit around my waist,” Rudolph said. She then joked that she often takes the belly chain and repeatedly kisses it.
It’s been nearly five years since Prince passed away and his famed Paisley Park estate will be honoring the anniversary by allowing free visits to its atrium where his ashes will be on display.
The estate will be open from 9AM to 9PM on April 21 where visitors will be allowed inside for limited time increments via reservation. Masks are required, park officials will be in accordance with COVID restrictions, and reservations can be made here.
